Making the Saints Perfect

Question:

What does the author of Hebrews mean in 11:40 when he says that "apart from us, they should not be made perfect"? What is it that we do that makes these 'heroes of faith' perfect?

Answer:

It is referring to the Last Day resurrection in which we will receive our heavenly bodies (John 5:28; 6:39, 40, 44, 55; 1Th 4:16-17)
